Sahil Sharq Mianeh Mining and Logistics Company Limited currently has four active mining projects, including a large-scale iron ore mine in the Chashma Dam area of Ghoryan district, Herat province. There is a small-scale travertine mine in the Chehl Dukhtar area of Chahar Asiab district of Kabul province, a small-scale gypsum mine in the Dasht-e Rabat area of Farkhar district of Takhar province, and a small-scale gypsum mine in Bar Foladi village of Daimirdad district of Wardak province.
